When I started off as a back-up singer to this great performing artist, I thought I was already living a dream. Yes, travelling by land or taking the budget flights just so I can join her and do her back-up vocals in her concert tours was a great discomfort but I didn’t mind because it was, for me, a great honor just to be able to sing with an icon even if I don’t get to be seen on stage with her. This, until I had what others may call “a big break” when a producer offered to support my career not as a back-up singer, but as a solo or lead performing artist. Imagine me, building my own name, having my own shows and doing concert tours! The moment I accepted the offer, I thought of those others who would start off as a back-up singer like me and said to myself that they, too, need the comfort and rest before to be able to deliver a good performance. I won’t just let them take the buses or economy flights. I’ll get a Private jet charter to take us around. And I’ll make it a point to choose the Jet charter that can seat my whole team comfortably. Thirty years in show business, I still go around in Private jets living my dream.
